Dr.
Detail of the 3D model with respect to the vascular, nerve and soft tissue/ ligamentous support of the main structures in the pelvis ( uterus, bladder and rectum) is very inadequate. Looking at the bladder and uterus in the app, they are just suspended in the pelvis, as if attached or connected to nothing. This might work as an adjunct in explaining things to a patient, but as a learning tool for a med student or a detailed companion for a surgeon or gyn, I dont think so @ this time. With more detail might be a good app
Anatomy
This is an amazing app. It would be great to have the nephron illustrated and smaller anatomical parts though I have not found a good app or any app at all for nephron anatomy. It is an excellent app though to show gross anatomy and I like that you can remove pieces of the body to look at specific structures.
Pretty disappointed
I have always enjoyed visible body apps. As an OB/GYN intern I was excited to see this app and thought it would be a good tool for teaching students and patients. The videos are great and the information about the structures are detailed but the user friendliness of the anatomy portion is terrible. Hard to change to different angles and isolate vessels and nerves. If you want to hide or fade arteries, veins or nerves you have to select each one individually not like the computer app where you can just view certain systems. The create note card feature is hard to use. This has the potential to be a fantastic app but for right now needs some major improvements in user friendliness. I have only used to show patients videos but other than that it sits idly waiting until some improvements are made
